Pilates is a body weight conditioning class focusing on mobility and core strength/stability. It is mostly mat/floor based, is low intensity and thoroughly works your internal muscles.

I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Mat-based Pilates and Instructing Pilates with small equipment – this means resistance bands, soft balls, weighted balls, Pilates rings etc. Most classes I teach are for mixed abilities as it’s rare to have a group of people all working at the same level – (non-members and complete beginners are welcome too).
I provide a private Pilates service where I am able to come to your home. 1-1 Pilates Instruction, tailored to your needs, using equipment if appropriate; in the comfort of your own home. This has proved beneficial to most of my clients who love the flexibility and ease of access I offer. I’m really passionate about Pilates and truly believe that anyone can benefit from it – don’t knock it until you try it! Exercise is essential for the physical and mental well-being of any human being, and Pilates is really evidence of this. It may not be your preferred style of exercise – I myself like to train with weights and HIIT/plyometric principles but I always incorporate the control and stretch of Pilates into my weekly exercise routine; and always feel better for taking that slightly calmer approach to wind myself down.
