Georgetown, Malaysia

Our first Malaysia stop, George Town – famous for its street food and rightly so. A wonderful place so cultureful, it may have taken us a painful 12 hour mini van drive but it was worth it in the end.

Next to our hostel down Love Lane we found an art gallery. We made a friend “Clovis Leong”. He was the artist, it was full top to toe of post cards. The idea is you buy a post card write it to a someone and put it in the date box you want it posted and they will do it for you. We wrote one to each other and when it arrived on my birthday in April I had completely forgotten about it!

A quote from a gallery we visited that stood out was “The meaning of travel: see, stop, listen and feel”. This quote seemed apt from what we have experienced so far.
